Minestrone Soup (Italian Tomato Vegetable Soup)


  • Bacon
  • Onions
1/2 piece
  • Carrots
1/2 piece
  • Potato
1 piece
  • Cabbage
2 piece
  • Green bell pepper
1 piece
  • Tomatoes, boiled
  • Macaroni
  • Butter
  • Water
  • Chicken consomme
2 tbsp
  • Little bit of salt
  • Little bit of black pepper
  • Little bit of parsley
Minestrone Soup (Italian Tomato Vegetable Soup)
Cooking Method:

  1. Boil the macaroni with plenty of hot water and salt, over low heat. Cut the bacon into small square cubes and boil lightly. Set aside.
  2. Cut onions, carrots, potatoes, green peppers, tomatoes into square cubes. Cut cabbages in cubes as well but a bit bigger.
  3. Put the butter in your Heart Shaped Casserole and fry the onion over medium heat. Lightly fry the bacon, carrots, potatoes, and cabbage. Turn to low heat then add chicken consomme and water. Simmer until vegetables are soft.
  4. Then add green peppers, tomatoes, and macaroni and simmer until the macaroni is fully cooked.
  5. Finely chop the parsley and sprinkle it together with salt and black pepper.
